Keeping accurate and detailed records is essential, but going through handwritten notes and patient history documents can be tedious and time-consuming. VetRec's Records Recap is here to make your workflow smoother and more efficient. You can upload a PDF of your previous records, handwritten notes or scanned documents, and Records Recap will extract the critical information for you.

Streamlining Your Record Summaries

Whether you're managing day-to-day GP appointments or reviewing a specialist referral, the ability to quickly summarize and retrieve key information from notes can save valuable time and effort.

Even if your notes are a mix of text, handwriting, and scanned documents, VetRec is designed to handle them all!

Uploading your PDFs

To use your records in VetRec you need to provide a PDF. Most PIMS and Scanners will provide you a PDF file after select to import the file. Once you have all your files ready head over to "Records Recap" and upload your files.

  1. Click on "Records Recap" on the menu bar.

  2. Type your Patient's Name in the Text Box

  3. Either Click on "Upload Area" to select your files or drag and drop them inside the box.

  4. Click "Summarize and Start Visit" to start processing the files.
