The Avimark connection must be enabled on your account. To get started, contact us at [email protected] or click the chat bubble in the lower right corner of VetRec to reach our support team directly.
Syncing Your Avimark Visits
Go to the All Visits page
In VetRec, navigate to All Visits and pick the date or date range you’d like to sync. You can filter by yourself or choose All Doctors.Click “Sync Avimark”
VetRec pulls in your appointments from Avimark in seconds.
First-time Staff ID Setup
If you select a specific Doctor, the first time you sync, VetRec will ask you to select your Avimark Staff ID. This links your VetRec account to the correct Avimark profile so VetRec only pulls your own appointments.
Customize What You See
Click the gear icon next to “Sync Avimark” to filter appointment types. Deselect any types you don’t need — VetRec will remember your preferences.
Documenting in VetRec
To add notes to individual visits, just select the desired visit from the list, and then Click on Add to Visit. Record your consultation as you normally would. Once you're ready to generate your notes, just hit Generate Notes.
Exporting Notes to Avimark
ℹ️ Before exporting your notes over to Avimark, you have to map your template to the corresponding sections on Avimark. This setup is only required once.
Once you're done working your Notes on VetRec, just use the Export to Avimark button to send your notes over to Avimark. The notes will transfer over under the patient's record.
Mapping out your Templates
Before you're able to export your notes you have to setup the mappings of your VetRec template to your Avimark Sections. This is only required once per template and let's you customize where you want your sections to land on.
From your template click on Settings → Integrations.
Select Avimark from the PiMS list.
On the left, select where you want VetRec to put each section on the corresponding Avimark S.O.A.P section. You can map multiple VetRec sections to a single Avimark section.
