VetRec provides support for notes export into EzyVet. All it takes is a couple steps to configure things.
Before we get started, install the VetRec Chrome Extension which we will use to export the notes. Install extension.
Configure your template
In order to properly export notes to EzyVet, we need to map the content in your VetRec template to your EzyVet setup. We do this by opening the template that is being used in VetRec and opening the integration options.
First we navigate to the templates section:
Select the template you want to enable for EzyVet export or create a new template:
Open the integration options:
Next, pick EzyVet from the integrations picker:
Once selected you will see a list of your template sections in VetRec and the option to map them to categories for which sections they should go into in ezyVet. For Vitals, it will let you map which vital each entry in that section maps to.
"Category" is the original name that ezyVet knows the field as. If you renamed any fields in ezyVet, you might need to confirm what the original category was on ezyVet if it is not clear. The easiest way to do this is to follow the steps shown below (Admin > Settings > Clinical > Scroll down to "Clinical Record") to see what the original names

Once you are ready, hit save configuration and save the template!
Now that the template is configured you can use it to create notes that are compatible with EzyVet!
Remember to use this template for your notes to ensure compatibility. To help, we recommend setting the template as the default.
Exporting notes to EzyVet
Once your template is configured, you can generate notes that are compatible with EzyVet. Now lets export the notes.
To export the notes into EzyVet, we will start by opening the chrome extension that we installed at the beginning. If you haven't done so, install the extension. Once install open it. (If you are not logged into VetRec, go ahead and login and re-open the extension.)
In the extension navigate to the history tab:
Then pick the visit notes you want to move to EzyVet:
Next, on the same browser window as the extension, open the EzyVet chart you want to export notes to:
Now, click on the Add all sections to EzyVet button. This will automatically copy the notes from VetRec into EzyVet for all sections. It will use the mappings we configured to ensure all information is in the right place.
And voila! the notes are now exported into EzyVet
