Configure Vetspire Connection
To configure the connection between Vetspire and VetRec, please reach out to our support team who can help at [email protected].
You will need a key to your Vetspire instance that can be found under Admin > API Keys.
Create a new API Key using the Create New API Key button. Our support staff will provide a secure way to provide the key to our team.
Exporting notes from VetRec to Vetspire
Once the connection is established, you will see an export to Vetspire option appear under the three dots menu in the Notes tab.

When you press the Export to Vetspire button a modal will appear asking for a patient ID. This is the ID of the patient in Vetspire that you want to add the notes to. You can find the ID on Vetspire at the top of the patient's chart.

You can then copy that ID into the modal and hit Export.
Now go back to Vetspire and you will see the notes exported.
Sometimes a page refresh is required for exported notes to show up.
