VetRec provides a Chrome Extension that can be used within the Chrome Browser. This extension provides a feature rich experience to record and process notes, side by side with your PiMS. With Vetspire, it provides further capabilities to automatically synchronize information as you using Vetspire with the Extension open.

Syncing Patient Information

The Chrome Extension provides two ways to synchronize patient information from Vetspire:

  • Sync Schedule: Automatically pull your current schedule from Vetspire to pre-load the patient's you will see that day into VetRec.

  • Pull ad-hoc patients: When you are seeing one-off patients that are not in your schedule or want to record a quick follow up note, you can pull individual patient's.

Sync Schedule

Once the button is pressed, in a few seconds the visits are imported. Imported visits are automatically configured to make the export process more seamless so that you don't need to add a patient UD or encounter ID.

You can use the date picker to select a time range and sync the visits within it. Meaning if you want to sync the visits for the week, simply select the week on the picker and hit the Sync Vetspire button.

You can press the Sync Vetspire button as many times as you want during the day. It will automatically update any appointments that have changed (e.g. patient changed appointment time or even patient's name change) as well as add any last minute patients that get added to your schedule!

Pull Ad-Hoc Patients

The Chrome Extension will automatically pull information for the patient you have open on Vetspire. For example, if you have Lemon open in Vetspire, it will automatically be pulled into VetRec. It will populate the patient name as well as information behind the scenes like the Patient ID.

If the page open on Vetspire is an Encounter, VetRec will automatically pull the Encounter ID as well.

Note: Ensure to modify the Template ID to match the desired encounter type or behavior.

Export Notes

VetRec allows you to also export your notes directly into Vetspire. Navigate to the patient notes you would like to export under All Visits. Then press the Export notes to Vetspire button to bring up the export modal.

VetRec support multiple export types for notes to Vetspire:
