Starting a Multi-Pet Appointment

  1. Begin from the Scribe / Recording screen as usual.

  2. Click on the Multi-pet button located next to the patient's name field.

Once clicked, you can add additional patients by entering their names into the provided fields. You can include up to 10 patients simultaneously.

Pro-tip: on the Patient's name box type two individual patients separated by "and" and we'll automatically convert them to 2 patients. Example: "Jimmy and Joey"

If you decide to switch back to a single-patient visit:

  • Simply click on the Switch to Single Patient button located next to the patient names. This will revert your appointment setup back to a single-patient format.

Mobile App & Chrome Extension

This works on the Chrome Extension and mobile App too, you can start multi-pet appointment through a similar interface.

Recording and Processing

Once multiple patients are set, proceed with recording the visit as you normally would:

  • Click the Start Recording button.

  • Clearly state each patient's name during the recording to help VetRec accurately generate notes.

  • Stop the recording and process the notes when your consultation is complete.
