VetRec allows you to pause recordings and resume them. This means that if you are in the middle of a recording, you can pause it to attend to a different patient or step out of the room. Once you are back, you can simply resume to continue capturing information.

Example Workflow

Lets pretend that Dr. Whiskerson is using VetRec to record a consultation for Fluffy. To get started, Dr. W asks the patient's owner for consent to start the recording and presses Start Recording.

During the consult, Dr. W needs to take Fluffy to the back to do a blood draw and do some X-Rays. Dr. W pauses the recording by pressing the pause button.

Once Dr. W finishes the diagnostic tests, they come back into the room with the patient's owner and starts the recording back up by pressing resume.

Dr. W talks about the results from the diagnostic tests and next steps in Fluffy's care. Once the conversation is over, Dr. W stop the recording and start processing it to get the notes.
