In case you have multiple microphones available to your computer, you may want to select a default microphone so that whenever you use VetRec, you are always using your preferred/highest quality microphone.

1. In the Search bar, search for "sound settings" and click on Sound settings.
2. Once in Sound settings, look for the Inputs section. This should include all microphones available to your system. Select the microphone you prefer. VetRec will use this Microphone as the default going forward.

1. Open System Settings.
2. Find Sound and then Output & Input. Click on Input and then select your preferred microphone from the table list. VetRec will use this Microphone as the default going forward.
