In addition to custom abbreviations and corrections, VetRec also supports the ability to define your own custom glossary of terms. This can be useful for specific terminology like:
Proper names (last names, name of clinic/hospital, etc.)
Medications / treatments (any preferred medications or treatments that might not be identified by VetRec automatically)
To add custom glossary terms, navigate to settings and then under My Settings (for user settings) or Team Settings (for team settings), you will find a Vocabulary menu item on the left navigation. Select the Glossary tab.
You can add and delete any terms from this view. Any terms added to the My Settings will be used only on your account. Any terms added to Team Settings will be shared with everyone on the team.
