To have snippets inserted into your notes automatically, see this guide.

If you or your team don't have any Snippets, see this guide.

Go into your generated notes in VetRec then:

  1. Double click where you want the snippet to go
    – or highlight text you want to replace.

  2. Click the Snippet button in the inline toolbar (scissors icon in the screenshot).

  3. In Insert Snippet, search by name (e.g., “Side effects for Gabapentin”) and select the snippet.

  4. The snippet is inserted at the cursor (or replaces the highlighted text).

Tips

  • You can insert multiple snippets—repeat as needed.

  • Everything inserted is regular text; feel free to edit it.

  • Made a mistake? Use Undo (⌘Z / Ctrl+Z).
