Whether you are a specialist, a GP or an ER doctor, you see new patients all the time. Those patients often come with a full medical history, sometimes being hundreds of pages long. Sitting and reading through the hundreds of pages is time consuming.

VetRec Records Recap will save your valuable time! Upload a patient's prior records or referral records, and Records Recap will quickly and accurately summarize them for your review prior to an appointment.

Start your Visit with Records Recap

Start your visit by uploading patient prior records (reports from other doctors, diagnostic test results, etc.) and use Records Recap to summarize it for you!

VetRec supports PDF documents up to 150 pages. Scanned pages and images are not supported yet.

Navigate to the Records Recap tab on the left-hand navigation.

Click on the add document area or drag and drop files. Then click the Summarize and Start Visit button.

After a few seconds, you will be redirected to the visit details in "All Visits" where you will see the document summary from Records Recap.

You can continue the visit with your patient using "Add to visit" to record your visit and generate medical notes and client communications as you do today.

If you would like to summarize records in an existing visit, take a look at Add Prior Records to Existing Visit and Summarize
