How to set a template as default in your account

If you have multiple templates and you happen to use one consistently more than others, then it might be a good idea to set that template as default so that you don't need to select it every time in the main Scribe page at the top right corner where the Template Select dropdown is.

Setting a default template for your account

To do this, just follow the quick instructions below.

  1. Navigate to the Templates section

  2. Locate the template you are interested in and click the three dots next to the template followed by the button that says "Set as default" as indicated in the screenshot below

3. To confirm that the template is as default, two things will happen.

a) A star will appear at the left of the template:

b) The template will be defaulted in the Scribe page in the top-right corner:

Note: this will also be synced to your app! Meaning, once you set a template as default, the mobile app will automatically also choose your default template in the template selection dropdown menu in the Scribe page.
