Getting Started

Setting up your Integration with Instinct is easy and can be done in only a few minutes.

To get started Contact Instinct Support and request that you'd like to Integrate with VetRec - you can message them directly via the chat functionality in Instinct.

Instinct will securely sent you over a Client ID and Secret. Once you receive those you can proceed to the setup.

Setup the Integration

ℹ️ You must be an Administrator to setup the integration for your team

Once you've receive your Client Id and Password from Instinct, you can setup the integration for your team. This step is only required once per hospital / group.

  1. Navigate to Settings on the VetRec Side navigation bar and then Integrations.

  2. Click on the Get Started on the Instinct Card.

  3. Paste the Client ID and Client Secret you received from Instinct.

  4. Click on Save Connection.

That's it! VetRec and Instinct are ready to talk to each other!
