Prerequisites
You must have access to your Cornerstone Server to setup the connection.
You must be an administrator in order to setup the integration
You must have an active subscription or trial

Steps to Connect
The Cornerstone connection setup is simple, self-service, and takes only a few minutes to complete.
1. Open Integrations
From our Web App, Click Integrations in VetRec’s sidebar.
Select Cornerstone → Get Started.
2. Generate Your Installation Link
Click Start Setup, VetRec will generate a secure and unique installation link for your Cornerstone Server.
Copy the link so you can use it in your server.
ℹ️ The installation link will expired within 30 days if not used.
3. Install on the Cornerstone Server
ℹ️ This step MUST be completed on the Cornerstone Server
Use the link VetRec generated for your server in the previous step and open it in a web browser.
Follow the prompts, open the downloaded file and complete the installation prompts until the end.
4. Verify the Connection
Back in VetRec, click Verify Connection from the Integrations page.
If you closed the previous windows, you can get back Selecting Cornerstone → Continue Setup.
If the verification fails, wait a few minutes to allow the the connection on the Server to be stablished and try again. If the issue persists check our troubleshoot section.
That's it!
You're all setup and ready to start using your connection.
You can head into the All Visits tab and start syncing your visits and exporting your notes.
Troubleshooting
Make sure the Data Sync Agent was installed on the Cornerstone Server and the server has a connection to the internet.
If you encounter any issues while verifying the connection, your Firewall or Network might be blocking our Data Sync Agent. Check Network Requirements on the error message for specific details. You might need to work with your IT administrator to unblock our traffic.
