Setting Up Your Cornerstone Connection

Easily setup a connection between Cornerstone and VetRec to import your appointments and export your Notes

Prerequisites

To set up your Cornerstone connection, please contact VetRec support first. Our team will quickly enable the setup for your clinic. You can reach us at [email protected] or via our support chat.

Setting Up the Cornerstone Connection

The Cornerstone connection setup is simple, self-service, and takes only a few minutes to complete. Follow these easy steps:

1. In VetRec, navigate to the Integration page in the sidebar.

2. Find the Cornerstone Icon and click the Setup button.

3. Click on "Get Started" and then "Generate Installation Link". VetRec will generate a unique installation link for you.


​4. Copy the provided installation link and open it directly on your Cornerstone server. Follow the simple prompts on your Cornerstone server until the installation finishes. This Step MUST be completed on the server hosting Cornerstone.

Verifying and Completing Your Cornerstone Connection

1. Return to VetRec's Integrations page.

2. Click "Verify Connection" to confirm everything is correctly configured and finalized the connection.

  • You will see a confirmation message saying "Connection successful!" once the verification is complete.

  • If verification fails, please double-check that the installation steps were fully completed and click Verify Connection again.


If you followed all the steps correctly, the Cornerstone Card will have a "Connected" badge and you should see a "Sync Cornerstone" button on your "All Visits" page.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues:

  • Confirm the installation link was opened and fully completed on the Cornerstone server.

  • Ensure your Cornerstone server allows internet access to communicate with VetRec.

  • Contact VetRec support at [email protected] or via support chat for assistance.
