Setting Up the IntraVet Connection

The IntraVet connection setup is simple, self-service, and takes only a few minutes to complete. Follow these easy steps:

  1. In VetRec, navigate to the Integration page from the sidebar.

  2. Find the IntraVet icon and click the Setup button.

  3. Click Get Started, then click Generate Installation Link. VetRec will generate a unique installation link for you.

  4. Copy the provided installation link and open it directly on your IntraVet server. Follow the simple prompts on your IntraVet server until the installation completes. This step MUST be completed on the server hosting IntraVet.

Verifying and Completing Your IntraVet Connection

  1. Return to VetRec's Integrations page.

  2. Click Verify Connection to confirm everything is correctly configured and finalize the connection.

You will see a confirmation message saying "Connection successful!" once verification is complete.

If verification fails, double-check that the installation steps were fully completed and click Verify Connection again.

If you followed all the steps correctly, the IntraVet card will display a "Connected" badge, and you should see a "Sync IntraVet" button on your "All Visits" page.


Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues:

  • Confirm the installation link was opened and fully completed on the IntraVet server.

  • Ensure your IntraVet server allows internet access to communicate with VetRec.

  • Contact VetRec support at [email protected] or via support chat for assistance.
