Regenerate notes and reselect inputs

VetRec allows you to regenerate a note as many times as you want until you get the perfect note you want. In addition, on the web version, you can change the input recordings used to generate a specific note.

Common use cases for regenerating your notes:

  1. Change template: Used the wrong template by mistake or made changes to your template after notes generation.

  2. Regenerate with one-off additional instructions

  3. Reselect input recordings: Recorded some audio against the wrong note.

Web

Go to the visit and note that you want to regenerate, click ⋮ Actions and click Regenerate Note. You can only gr

This will provide a pop-up to let you configure how you want to regenerate your notes. More details on the controls in red.

  • Template: Select the template you would like to use to regenerate the note with.

  • Additional instructions: Provide one-off additional instructions for the regeneration. E.g., include more details on what the owner discussed about the patient's prior home. For general instructions that are included on every use of that template, use template level instructions as discussed in writing template instructions.

In addition, you can also change which recordings are used to regenerate the note. Simply click on Change → button (yellow).

This will provide you an interface to reselect which recordings feed into your notes. Once satisfied, click Continue with selection.

Once you are done configuring how to regenerate your notes, click Regenerate note.

Extension

Go to the visit and note that you want to regenerate, click Actions and click Regenerate Notes. You can only regenerate one note at a time.
