In VetRec we strive to optimize your workflow and tailor it to your needs.

Although pricing is per doctor (and staff is free!) it is up to you if you want to use one single shared account or multiple accounts.

This article will talk about setting up individual accounts for every doctor/staff in the clinic. If you want to visit our Shared Account set up go here.

Individual Accounts

Individual accounts are common on fast-paced clinics like ER/Specialty as well as GPs who prefer to use their phone in the room.

Pros:

  • Faster onboarding - create an account and use it!

  • Flexibility to carry their phone in different places and record "on the go"

  • Easier management of individual account, easy to understand which sessions are for who in a team setting.

Cons:

  • Every user needs to create and manage their own account

  • Every user needs to install the VetRec app on their phone or computers.

Setting it up

Each doctor/staff will need to create their own account either by following any of these three steps:

  1. Creating an account on https://vetrec.io

  2. Creating an account on their mobile app

  3. Getting an invitation to join a VetRec team which prompts them to create an account

Users can then use VetRec on their phone/computers without interruption.

For a seamless collaboration environment, we recommend creating a team for the clinic and inviting members to it so that even though everyone has their own account, people can share templates and see each other's sessions.
