Each template can have its own language setting that overrides your default note language. This is useful if you use certain templates for clients who speak a different language, or if your practice produces documentation in multiple languages.
To set a language for a specific template:
Open the template you want to configure
Click the Settings menu (gear icon) in the top-right area of the template editor
Select Note Language
In the modal that appears, choose the language you want notes generated in when using this template
Click Save
How it works:
If a template has a language set, notes generated with that template will use the template's language — regardless of your default note language.
If a template does not have a language set, VetRec falls back to your default note language.
The language picker in the template modal shows your current default note language pre-selected. If you choose the same language as your default, the template-level override is cleared (it will just follow your default).
